Palaver Institute

Our Story

A pan-African research institution founded in 2025 with a clear mission: to build the infrastructure needed for the next generation of African researchers to thrive.

Born from a Proof of Concept

Palaver Institute emerged from an early research pilot conducted in Cameroon. A small group of emerging researchers worked intensively across several disciplines and produced high-quality academic papers.

The success of this pilot demonstrated that with mentorship, structure, and access to research training, talented scholars can produce work at a global standard — for remarkably little cost.

This experience led to the founding of Palaver Institute in October 2025, with a commitment to scaling this proven model across the continent.
